Setting up a client environment on Leo
In some instances, you may want to set up a separate client environment on Leo to ensure that their documentation and data stays organised and securely segregated from other areas of the business.
Here are the steps to set up a new client environment:
- From the Settings page, click Clients
- Click on the green NEW button
- Fill in the pop-up Create Client form
- The only Client Information that you must enter is the Client Name. However, we recommend that you complete the form as much as possible because the information you enter might be used for the creation of reports
- Click NEXT to move to the Features, Modules, Registers. Here you will be able to choose which modules and registers your clients will be able to access
- Once you’ve completed this, you’ll click through to Administrators, where you’ll be able to select which of your own Users you would like to have as Administrators in the client environment
- Confirm the details you have entered
- Once you have set up the new client on Leo, their name will appear on the Client drop-down menu at the top right of the screen.
NOTE: In some use cases of Leo, we want our clients to have access to the system. We do this so that we can create a segregated environment from our own firm;
We may want to do this as a compliance consultancy using Leo to service our clients, or we may be a Principal Hosting platform and we want to monitor our ARs on their own.
