The Settings page consists of several icons with corresponding labels, each with a different purpose.
You can find this page simply by clicking on the cog-like icon on the left menu of the Leo platform. Once you do this, the icons in the Settings page can be clicked on to access their individual services.
Archive Data
The first icon to appear is the Archive Data. This is where you can see ALL documents and items you have uploaded to be stored on Leo.
This includes:
- Compliance Manual & Policies
- Employee Attestations
- Financial Promotion Reviews
- Registers
- PA Dealings
- Compliance Risk Assessments
Clients
The following icon in Settings is Clients. This is where we store the names of your clients who have been given access to their sub-environment, and the date this was created on (to maintain an audit trail).
Below is what will appear if you click on NEW to create a sub-environment for a new client. You are guided by Leo through providing the necessary information, including all relevant Features and who the assigned Administrators will be.
Configuration
The next icon is Configuration. This is where the CLIENT LOGO of the firm the master environment belongs to can be uploaded, as well as the REPORT LOGO, and REPORT COVER of choice, can be added. This will allow these features to automatically be applied to any of the reports generated.
To UPLOAD any of the options given, this can be done by clicking on the corresponding green button.
Content Management
Our next Setting is Content Management. This will give you a simple list of all features that are included in your environment.
Email Log
Next, we have the Email Log. This Setting shows:
- What emails have been sent
- To which client they were sent
- Which email was sent to them
- The date they were sent on
Clicking on the email will open a copy of the email so you can see what was sent to them.
Emails
The next Setting is Emails, which is NOT to be confused with the Email Log. This Setting stores the email templates you might have prepared with names corresponding to the specific purpose of the template.
Firm Profile
Following that icon, we have the Firm Profile where the key permissions and descriptors of the firm can be entered. As visible in the screenshot below, alongside the firm DETAILS, the SENIOR MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES can also be entered.
Groups
The Groups tab simply opens onto a list of the types of groups available for Leo users, on which you can click to assign specific permissions to each group.
Modules
Following on from Groups, we see the Modules setting. This is a straightforward list of the modules that are visible on the main Leo dashboard. It is here that the setup of these modules can be edited by clicking on the relevant module.
PA Dealings
Next, the PA Dealings setting serves to decide which requests will get automatically approved or denied, as well as the criteria to be applied to these options.
Registers
The Registers setting option shows a list of all registers on the environment’s platform. Each of these can be clicked on individually to access the Settings, Permissions and Rules.
Remedial Actions
The next setting is that of Remedial Actions, where additional columns can be added to the feature or the Risk levels can be specified.
Templates
The Templates setting is where the list of existing reports are shown, and the report templates are documented with an audit trail. New report templates can also be created firsthand. This can be done by clicking NEW TEMPLATE, which will open a new window with all required steps to fill in a new report.
Users
Finally, we see the Users setting. This is a simple list of all users of the environment. The three dots visible to the right of each user allows their settings and permissions to be edited. New users are simple to add, simply by clicking the INVITE USER button and filling in the required details.
To conclude, the Settings area of Leo serves as a workshop area for everything in your environment to keep running smoothly. The way each of the environment’s features work is decided and updated in their respective Settings module, as well as an audit trail of what edits have been made, when, and by whom.
